Greetings to all. It has taken a little longer for me to be getting on with things, this post was intended to go out last weekend, but, unfortunately, I’ve been spending days in excruciating pain, (as must all who carry a chronic condition.)

Although I spent a day in hospital, I, and my consultant both know that apart from the care and support that I already receive, (and for which I am immeasurably grateful,) there is very little that can be done for me in the allopathic field. From my perspective, however, hospital tests are useful monitors, helping me to make informed choices for my developing needs.

Meanwhile, we as a family were negotiating one of life’s larger crossroads. But that is another story, and one which I would love to write about. Maybe soon.

Right, back to the post, with more from The Eden Project, or, Edenva, as the locals are said to call it. There will be one more post from Eden soon, but for now, I hope you enjoyed the above; and, hats off to Amanda for her camera skills.

There are so many fine writers, poets, artists, photographers, thinkers, and wits, on WP;  I want to say thank you to all.  And, If I’m ever a little late getting back to you please forgive me. Here’s a little something I feel you might enjoy:

Ten Fun Facts:

1. You can’t wash your eyes with soap.

2. You can’t count your hair.

3. You can’t breathe through your nose, with your tongue out.

4. You just tried no. 3.

6. When you did no. 3, you realised it’s possible, only you look like a dog.

7. You’re smiling right now because you were fooled.

8. You skipped no. 5.

9. You just checked to see if there is a number 5.

10. Share this with your friends to have some fun too.

A Feast of Eden

One thing about England, is the way that in just a day, you can travel the world over, and still get home in time for tea. It’s like beaming instantly to different countries. Inside its impressive ‘Bio-domes,’ the Eden Project provides recreation for rain-soaked Brits, and our welcome visitors.

The Eden Project looks to me, like an interplanetary base. A sort of travellers rest for jaded space explorers.  These pics were taken when Amanda visited, in 2010. I hope you like them. I am planning two follow-up posts from Eden for the near future.

As my health has been pretty poor of late, I have just had tests done at home, which will be discussed during my coming hospital visit.  Healing prayers sincerely welcomed.

With that, I shall bow out, gracefully. Wishing you peace, and fulfilment – Namaste from Amras.

Greenhorn to Angel

Namaste, and greetings. It has taken more time than I intended to get back to you with part two of our Hanbury Hall pics.  The ol’ ‘condition’ kicked in, and I was challenged to do anything; other than *endure.

But, with the summer rain gently drenching the chestnut trees outside my window, I feel good to go.

A house that has been frozen in time, the visitors are the only things that move.  All this opulence, yet the dinner plates remain forever empty.  The wooden toys remind me of many still being sold when I was small. Very disappointing things they were too, (apart from Airfix models, and Mecano sets.)  I possessed many more books than I did toys, and spent as much time as I could in the woods, exploring.

A good friend of Amanda owns a house like this, and, to keep the house aired in the days before I became house-bound, she would very kindly ask us to move in while she was abroad. This way, I have experienced both homelessness, and stateliness; and for me, somewhere in between seems best.

I shall take this opportunity to thank our friends and followers, and to wish you a very blessed summer/winter, where ever on Earth you happen to be.

Until next time, from this greenhorn who wishes to become an angel, peace from Amras.

Remember (Your Name),

The first thing that I taught you

After you woke from your long sleep

In my womb – was Love.

*I’ve had some medical attention this week, and a hospital visit has been arranged for next month. I’ll let you know.

Greetings dear readers. A few days ago, Amanda and Luke went to Hanbury Hall, where they took these pics for us. Hanbury Hall is a stately home situated somewhere in Worcestershire, (pronounced ‘wustersher’,) and is the property of our National Trust. It is also open to the public all year round.

Such ‘wealth’ on show, yet sorrow cannot be bought off. The story goes that the former owner of the house died tragically, leaving no heirs. But, would one not be inclined to imagine that to live in such a house would be paradise? I think not, certain as I am that stateliness never cancelled karma.

Being housebound, I don’t get to experience these places any more, and so I am immeasurably grateful that my family enjoy going out with their cameras to capture these images for me.  And, I, in return, like to share them with you. I hope you like them.

I will post the pics from the inside of the house next time, which (all being well,) will be soon.  My body hasn’t  fared comfortably this year so far, and any healing wishes you send will be very gratefully received.

So, with my sincerest thanks to all my fellows, and followers, ’til next time, peace, and namaste from Amras.
