We are such people, for we inhabit this “Brave New World” and we here for each other.
The hardest days are ahead for those who will be without their special loved one during the festival.
Let’s be there for them. If not in body, then in a prayerful mind and heart. Let us set that intent, and be there for them.
Let’s always keep an honoured place in our hearts for those who suffer so.
And, let us never forget our mothers, the ones who work themselves into the ground, and who are struggling to make their families happy with their pitiful and heartless wages. May it not always be so.
Let us be those brave new people who dare to care from the bottom of our hearts. We care because we have learned from experiment, and experience, that love, when generated within the heart, and focused like a laser, with the intent to effect a necessary change in the environment, succeeds. Let those people be us.
