Namaste, and greetings. I’ll not write much today, except to say that with Spring being so close, it’s time to brandish cameras and head into the great outdoors again. Amanda took hers down to Surrey, in London’s South West, where our son lives. Here they strolled, and saw the sights above.
Canals are a common site in Britain. During their hey-day, they were a super fast highway for go-ahead businesses. Now they’re mainly for leisure purposes.
Our son particularly wanted Amanda to see Eric Clapton’s old guitar, so they ended up at Sullivans Wine Bar, (even tough Amanda doesn’t drink.) I enjoyed seeing the “Keep Britain Tidy” poster. Not so long ago society didn’t care, and you had to watch where you were stepping. Comparatively speaking, soiled streets are almost a thing of the past here now; just like Concorde. I remember when Concorde was a grand dream for the future, though now it may said to stand beside the skeletons of dinosaurs. Tempus tends to fugit quite a lot of late.
But nevertheless, what grander wonders are awaiting us just around that next corner?
Until next time, thank you for reading, and peace from Amras.
