Crystals En Regalia

Namaste, and greetings. This post is a simple tribute to the beauty of crystals. All the above pics were taken in 2004, using an early digital camera. As flowers grow from soil, crystals grow from stone. Crystals remind me of the parable of the lilies of the valley,  “Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his glory was adorned like one of these.…”

When we ponder the many ways that crystals come into being, we can gain insights that will enhance our appreciation for all of creation. From atoms to devas, to crystals, to rainbows, to galaxies, to angels. We stand in the very centre of infinite creation. We are one with all, and all is one with us. According to Rudolph Steiner, the world is crystallised from the consciousness of the highest angelic beings, who give off their energetic and etheric substance to form the matrix of all things on earth.* So with all these deep connections that the intuitive mind makes when pondering the world within, and the understanding of how minerals, with their perfect atomic geometry, are connected to the workings of our bodies, our appreciation of the great divine mystery, felt deeply within the silence of our central selves, is enhanced with ever more heartfelt appreciation and gratitude.

Since our previous post, Amanda, Luke, and I were stricken with the latest flu strain that is rampaging everywhere. They have more or less recovered now, and I, despite all odds, am recovering rather well too. It felt for me like a mini dose of salmonella; so I do hope sincerely that no reader suffers the same. Take good care everyone.

Until next time, Peace from Amras.

“I forgive everything, everyone, every experience, every memory of the past or present that needs forgiveness. I forgive positively everyone. I also forgive myself of past mistakes. The Universe is love, and I am forgiven and governed by love alone. Love is now adjusting my life. Realizing this, I abide in peace.”

Charles Fillmore.

CRYSTAL MINERALS AND THE BODY – PART 2

We Are Crystals At The Centre of Our Being!

We ponder the many ways that crystals come into being and gain metaphysical insights that enhance our therapeutic intuition.

The purpose of this series is to help the student of crystal therapy to appreciate the correspondences that exist between crystals, the human body, and the atomic elements called minerals. Therapy is a three-way process that takes place between the crystals and the client, with the therapist acting as an energetic bridge. The therapist furthermore must be attuned to their highest and most loving spiritual component.

According to *Michael Geinger, crystal therapy can be applied as a three-in-one process:

Igneous crystals are considered to be good for primary healing, for example drawing out pain.

Sedimentary crystals are considered to be useful when people are undergoing times of growth.

Metamorphic crystals are considered to be useful for people who are undergoing times of deep inner change.

The types igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic may also be termed respectively – Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary.

As we saw in earlier posts, there are seven crystal classes, plus an ‘amorphous’ class for crystalline substances, such as granite. Crystals are classified according to the geometry that governs the point growth pattern and ‘grain’ of each individual crystal.

So, let’s get started, first we will revisit the crystal classes with this handsome diagram:

Next we’ll examine this legend, which is intended to make the subsequent diagrams easy to read.

And now the first five lists of crystals that contain the mineral in the title, along with their type and class. Note that many crystals have mixed origins.

The classes are colour coded for easy reference, with each symbol coloured in as appropriate.

Boron is a Trace Element in the human body.

I sincerely hope you find these lists useful, and that they help you to choose your crystals well. Namaste from Amras.

*Michael Geinger is the author of several excellent books for crystal therapists. I recommend “Crystal Power, Crystal Healing: The Complete Handbook”, available in paperback from Amazon.
