The Red Carpet

Greetings. How beautiful is this world: created for us.  I can never find words adequate to describe the wonder of being alive. The red carpet is rolled before the feet of a monarch; and are we not, each and everyone of us, the anointed monarch of our own lives? To take these pics, I need to be driven into the forest, which is otherwise within walking distance. From there, I lean against the car, or hobble for a few feet, using my trusty walking stick to save me from an undignified tumble. On this occasion, as you can see, the said carpet had been prepared in advance. The local church, atop the hill, crowns the forest. I enjoyed immensely the job of taking these pics, and hope sincerely that you enjoy viewing them.

I want to take this occasion to thank everyone who drops by this blog. Your visits are appreciated thoroughly, and may I say too, that your blogs are always inspiring to me. So, despite the howling cacophony that thunders on without, peace is real, and is found only within. And within every blog I read, I sense a longing for that peace to be shared.

May those of us for whom peace is the both the destination, and the path, be ever more mindful of this truth in the crazy days just ahead.

Hoping as ever to return soon. Namaste, and peace from Amras.

What Lies Above

What Lies Above v

I like to imagine a tiny fish living in his tiny rock pool. He cannot see what lies above the surface of the water, because when he looks there, he sees only his own reflection.  His universe is closed.  Now, if you submerge three or four fingers into the pool, what do you suppose the fish will see? – alien objects invading his universe, several of them.  If he were a thinking fish he would  assume, logically, that three or four individual worm-like monsters had invaded his world.  How could he know that he was not really looking at three or four wormy things, but in reality, one human hand simply stirring his pool.

When we observe extra dimensional phenomena, they source from beyond our human experiential and cognitive fields.  We can only describe our experiences according to the limits imposed upon us by our languages and our programming. During this earthly sojourning, these abilities are rendered inadequate for an ‘eagle’s eye’ view of reality. The price of incarnation

In an unlimited universe, we share material limitations along with all other living things

Understanding this, lets intend now to become kinder to ourselves, and then perhaps it will follow that we should become kinder to each other.

With sincere thanks and appreciation to all follows and givers of likes. I have been too poorly to do much writing of late, and apart for some daily tweeting, I haven’t spent as much time online as I would like. I hope this will improve as time goes on.  For now, please enjoy the artwork, and keep on creating those wonderful WordPress reads.

Namaste and peace from Amras.
