To All The Souls

Greetings readers. When I was a boy, playing with my friends in fields full of wild flowers, we knew why their petalled faces would follow the sun. In my imagination back then, flowers were like souls in heaven… always standing in perfect beauty, and bathed forever in glorious light.

This field of sunflowers from last August evokes those memories – and I feel that All Souls Day is the best day to share it. With loving wishes and gratitude to those who have gone before us, may we follow them with grace, knowing one day we will be reunited.

Until next time…

Happy Christmas

I wouldn’t let Yuletide pass without wishing all our readers the best Christmas, and happiest New Year possible. The storm rages, and the angry waters of chaos churn and boil all around us. Yet in the hearts of those who cross the bridge connecting their souls to heaven, peace is profound. Knowledge conquers fear, courage is the flower of faith, and inner silence conquers all.

Like so many readers, I have been forbidden to see my family and friends. I haven’t seen my dear brother since Christmas last, and he today remains unseen. The hurt and sadness we all feel and share as one, in these revelatory moments, is sacred, and profound precisely because these moments are being shared by billions of us all at once. Can you imagine how it will be when the table turns? In one moment all will know that we are free. Just imagine a tidal wave of infectious joy washing over us on that day – when in the streets and houses, fields, and sky, as even on the sea, we all embrace. Pray for it.

Some readers might notice that I haven’t been publishing as much as usual. I have been kept very busy this year composing and recording music from my room, in collaboration with a young producer. It’s a very long-drawn process because my fingers can rapidly grow too painful to use, and don’t recover quickly. That doesn’t stop me doing it though. So far I’ve no idea when or where we might publish. Stay tuned.

To the many who like and follow our blog, I thank you sincerely for your interest. I have been unable to ‘like’ your blogs for many months, due, no doubt, to some bug in wordpress. If/When it is fixed, you’ll see me on your blogs again.

Until then, and whenever I post again, may this Christmas reveal its sacred core of divine truth in every readers heart.

Down to Earth

Greetings. I hope you are keeping well. The above pics, taken somewhere deep in the hills of England, were sent by our regular contributor, Chris. He took them a few days ago, during one of his hikes. Please enjoy.

Thirty years ago to this night, (28th October), while coming home very late from the hospital where I worked, I was set upon, and overpowered by thugs. They broke my skull, cheekbone, and several teeth. A shard of skull pierced my eye, and my brain was exposed. Shortly after, I was back in hospital, only this time lying in intensive care. I was acutely aware when I was Cheyne-Stoking, and knew that my life was ebbing away. I knew when my heart stopped. I heard the cardiac monitor, and the anxious voices of my medical team, all fading fast into the distance.

Next, I was somewhere very different. I was completely free from pain, and found myself enjoying a rather elevated sense of mental awareness. In this calm space, I held a conversation with a wise soul, who told me that I had the choice to go on ahead at his side, or return to earth, if I was willing to face severe pain, and several other challenges that would ensue.

In that moment, there was no question in my mind that the happiness of my earthly family mattered more to me than any difficulties I might have to face. I elected without hesitation, and with my deepest gratitude, to return to mission earth. Heaven, after all, is eternal, while the life of the body is, by comparison, but the blink of a blackbirds eye.

I required three operations. It took nearly a year to put me back together. I was informed that my eye would have been lost if I hadn’t had the extreme good fortune of having one of this country’s top eye surgeons.

And here I am, thirty years later to the day, telling you all about it. I hope you don’t mind. If I learned anything that night, it was knowing what really matters the most in life. And, I just so want all to know there is nothing to fear when your conscience is clear.

With thanks to all who stop by.  I really hope you enjoy these posts. Though I find it quite a task at times to keep up with everyone, know that I’m still here at my keyboard, pacing myself as the day allows. Perhaps the coming new year will bring more energy my way.

Until next time, peace from Amras.

Kew Too

Greetings. Before introducing the pics, I want to thank most sincerely, all those whose prayers, and good intentions, are helping me to cope with some very unpleasant symptoms. Considerable benefits can be felt by the recipient of collective loving spiritual intentions. Thank you, good people.

The above pics conclude our selections from Kew Gardens. Please enjoy.

I will return soon, heaven permitting, with plenty more pics. Until then, keep the wind at your back, and may peace grow steadily in every heart.

the evidence of things not seen.

The Golden Season

Greetings from this writer. These pics are dedicated to those good readers who have sent healing wishes my way. The last five pics were taken one week later than the others, and I think it’s easy to see how fast the golden season encroaches.

Since returning, after experiencing a difficult summer, to a relatively manageable physical state, I am taking every opportunity, while it lasts, to  get out and capture local scenery at its best. If heaven permits, I will continue.

By the way, I hope you liked the alternative picture format, and I hope too to return very soon.

With thanks from me. Peace, and Namaste.
