Embattled Souls

I see trees of green
Red roses too
I see them bloom
For me and you
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world

I see skies of blue
And clouds of white
The bright blessed day
The dark sacred night
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world

The colors of the rainbow
So pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces
Of people going by
I see friends shaking hands
Saying, “How do you do?”
They’re really saying
“I love you”

I hear babies cry
I watch them grow
They’ll learn much more
Than I’ll never know
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world

Yes, I think to myself
What a wonderful world

Oh yeah

The words of Louis Armstrong mean more than ever now. May our prayerful attitude be the key that opens those locked hearts roaming our world.

Stay well, and be brave, dear readers. Life is eternal – you know this. Remember the sheer vibrancy of life when you were very small. The immediacy of colours and textures. The power of sound and music. The smells of the kitchen, and the taste of ice cream. Well that same living vibrancy is still here for us, though beyond the deterioration of our senses. Isn’t that an encouraging thought?

So too does the intensity of the love that we knew as infants, before our earthly struggles made dim our embattled souls, still shine like the sun of all stars. All is well in the streets of paradise. When we commit every single day to working from our hearts wisdom; purely and compassionately, then we are already there. We never left.

More pics to come.

May my thoughts be ever pure,

From true love my actions spring,

May my ways be strong and sure,

And my heart life’s praises sing.

Landlocked Brits

Despite many challenges, both physical, and technical, I’m back.

Although October is starting to get chilly, I have managed to spend a little high quality time in the garden. What impresses me most about being outdoors so far is how warm it still feels compared to July.

What a disappointing month that was for landlocked Brits.

The pics, taken in a day, show glimpses of the season in motion, I hope you enjoy viewing them.

As always I want to thank all readers, and followers who drop by these pages. I sincerely hope that they are worth your time. I am sorry that I can’t always reply to comments promptly, but I can’t thank you, dear readers, enough for the compassion, and wisdom contained in your comments.

I’m just about done for now, so until next time, peace, and Namaste from Amras.

“Finally, may we indeed, keep in our hearts, that our humble blogs are the spirits that keep the World Wide Web humane. Let us use this gift to flourish as people! Let us cherish one another! And be thankful for one another, because at some point, we touch our respective lives.”  ~ Aina Balagtas https://lyricssentimentsandme.wordpress.com

Real Differences

Heart

When those silent, ever-present, guardian angels are invited, and allowed, to participate in our affairs, then all of life’s little lessons generate joyous outcomes.

The spectrum of emotional challenges which our souls may encounter, are experienced as being more or less overwhelming, depending upon how far we are straying from centre.

Without going out of my door

I can know all things on earth

With out looking out of my window

I can know the ways of heaven

The farther one travels

The less one knows

The less one really knows

Those who are missed by many whom they have never met, except through their computer screens, will surely collect many fine souvenirs, when they pass, to remind them of how well their lives were lived.

From the centre look outwards, then from the circle look inwards. Yin becomes Yang becomes Yin; ad infinitum. Removing attention from these particulars, absorb the whole, and be guided to realise that in every moment that passes, divine balance is available.

Analytical thinking,
which divides and dissects,
does not satisfy the needs
of the spirit,
for the spirit finds peace
in unity,

When I was small, I could see no real differences between people. Growing up, I learned to love many cultures, and chose to work in a so-called multi-cultural environment. I hated the nonsense of division: even a child can understand that humanity is one, a family of souls, experiencing infinite complexity in infinite diversity. And even a child can know that all life is both miraculous and irreplaceable. And, to this day I still cannot see any real differences between people.

Radiance

Yet, when compassion fails in others, through patience,  may we find many gifts of divine growth in ourselves.

If it were not for the scorn, the way would not be sacred.

With my deepest appreciation for all readers, likes, and follows. I hope you have enjoyed this stream of consciousness post. Thank you so much for your support, and your friendship. It really helps during the difficult hours. Until next time, Namaste from Amras.
