The Grace of The World

Greetings. I have been a bit more poorly than usual for a while, so please do bear with me if this post seems brief. All of our lives are in transition, and nothing exists but all that is becoming. Only the giver of grace is eternally motionless, yet waits far ahead of all that moves, in the silences of forever.

One of the nicest things I find about our community is the respect we share, and I wish for the happiest of futures to find their way fast to all our doorsteps.

These pics were taken today, at Kingsbury Water Park in the West Midlands, UK. Please enjoy.

Until next time, and may it be soon. Peace from Amras.

“When despair for the world grows in me and I wake in the night at the least sound in fear of what my life and my children’s lives may be ……I go and lie down where the wood drake rests in his beauty on the water, and the great heron feeds. I come into the peace of wild things who do not tax their lives with forethought of grief. I come into presence of still water. And I feel above me the day-blind stars waiting with their light. For a time I rest in the grace of the world, and am free.”

The Red Carpet

Greetings. How beautiful is this world: created for us.  I can never find words adequate to describe the wonder of being alive. The red carpet is rolled before the feet of a monarch; and are we not, each and everyone of us, the anointed monarch of our own lives? To take these pics, I need to be driven into the forest, which is otherwise within walking distance. From there, I lean against the car, or hobble for a few feet, using my trusty walking stick to save me from an undignified tumble. On this occasion, as you can see, the said carpet had been prepared in advance. The local church, atop the hill, crowns the forest. I enjoyed immensely the job of taking these pics, and hope sincerely that you enjoy viewing them.

I want to take this occasion to thank everyone who drops by this blog. Your visits are appreciated thoroughly, and may I say too, that your blogs are always inspiring to me. So, despite the howling cacophony that thunders on without, peace is real, and is found only within. And within every blog I read, I sense a longing for that peace to be shared.

May those of us for whom peace is the both the destination, and the path, be ever more mindful of this truth in the crazy days just ahead.

Hoping as ever to return soon. Namaste, and peace from Amras.

Greetings dear readers, this post will be very short. My health has dipped quite a bit of late, and things are more difficult than usual. If I am late to respond to any likes, or comments, I apologise in advance.

I thought that I posted these pics back in 2012, but couldn’t find them after a search.  If anyone has seen these pics anytime in the past, you are welcome to let me know.

They were taken by Amanda during her Mediterranean voyage.

With that, as always, I wish for peace and wisdom to touch us all.  Namaste from Amras.

P.s., It’s my birthday, 62 and counting.

When You were Born

Rescue

What will it be like to go to sleep and never wake up?

And if you think long enough about that, something will happen to you.

You will find out, among other things, it will pose the next question to you.

What was it like to wake up after having never gone to sleep?

That was when you were born.

You are something that the whole universe is doing in the same way that a wave is something that

the whole ocean is doing… The real you is not a puppet which life pushes around;

the real, deep down you is the whole universe.

Alan Watts.

Namaste dear readers, I haven’t been feeling too again good of late, so I won’t write for long. My deepest appreciation goes out to all of you who sent kind wishes in response to our last post, thank you so much.

The duty of those who pray for peace, is to become peace itself, during times of turmoil. This is made achievable by nurturing a very good relationship with the deepest, and most intimate contents of our hearts. When forgiveness wipes the conscience clean, finally, faith becomes a radiant force for divine service.

With that, I shall leave you in peace. Until next time, best wishes from Amras.

Expect Things to Improve

SkyShriYantra

This is just a quick note to say that I am still here, and my health is holding out, (thankfully). The reason I’ve been unable to post for so long is the extreme connection issue happening around these parts, plus the fact that my computer is in its dotage.

Never mind, we are working on it, and expect things to improve, shortly.

Meanwhile, I would like to thank every reader who drops by; and, all being well, we should see more posts appearing here soon.

Until then, peace, and namaste.
