Joyful, All Ye Nations Rise

That glorious Form, that Light unsufferable,

And that far-beaming blaze of Majesty,

Wherewith he wont at Heav’n’s high council-table,

To sit the midst of Trinal Unity,

He laid aside, and here with us to be,

Forsook the courts of everlasting day,

And chose with us a darksome house of mortal clay.

Easter Day

I’m back. Happy Easter everybody. This day is even more significant than Christmas. It’s been a whole year since our last post. My sincere apologies to all our friends who enquired about my welfare. Due to a combination of health, and complex WP connection difficulties, I’ve been unable to reply before now. So this is my first opportunity to say thank you – may the wind be always at your back.

The Greek church was photographed many years ago, while I was out strolling in the neighbourhood.

I hope to return soon, when I will update you on my current adventures. Until then, Peace from Amras.

Every sacrifice made to help another, honours Christ.

As Hot as June

Continuing our marathon picture posting period, this time at our local garden centre. It was a March day, as hot as June, and time to pick some garden blooms. With its friendly tea shop, and pleasing atmosphere, our time in the see through nursery was well-spent.

As you can see, while Amanda was busy, choosing flowers, I was relaxed, sampling tea.

So, until next time, I will raise my cup and say a hearty cheers to all our readers.

Those whose eyes are open do not need to go to a church and look at a picture or statue of the Lord. In the eyes of every infant, in the smile of every innocent child, they receive the blessing of Christ.
