Wings and Water

Greetings from a place of good expectations, where we cheerily anticipate the coming warm weather. Amanda took these pics during her most recent visit to our sons home in Weybridge, which is close to London. And what a beautiful day that was for April. The little white flowers, and butterfly, were taken in our garden, but they begged to be included. I hope you agree.

Because I lack sufficient stamina to continue writing, I will rest for now, but not before saying thank you to all of our readers and followers, with our gratitude for the support you bring to this, our peace-loving blog.

And with that, it’s Peace again, and out from me

To Be Alive

Greetings, I’m back, already. This is a quickie from me, just to say thank you, for all the kind words and wishes I have received since returning to the fold. I am touched deeply by your kindness. These pics are a few weeks old now, but it is never too late to enjoy the living wonders of creation. When the day of grace unites humanity finally, then our beating hearts will surely feel as light as butterflies wings. And what a joy it will be, just to be alive.

I wonder, by the way, if our smiling frog was considering snacking on the butterfly.

Until next time, Peace.

A child’s mind, lacking a developed cortex, is virtually incapable of discrimination.

The child inevitably makes many false evaluations of the world.

Many of these false-to-facts judgements are conditioned into the nervous system on the

‘unconscious’ level, and can be carried over to adulthood.

Hence, we have a well educated man or woman who reacts in an infantile fashion.

Top of the day to each and everyone. I thought that with this bunch of pics, today would be a good day to wind up our Eden Project series. It has been difficult to ‘triage’ the pics for use in this series, so much variety. I hope they make a good tonic for your eyes.

Amanda and Luke plan to visit another big old house, somewhere in England, tomorrow; and perhaps another feast of photos will ensue.

Thank you to all readers and followers, for your kind support. My health has improved since the recent episode, and, as I lie here now, watching butterflies play in the chestnut trees outside my window, I am enjoying relative bodily comfort. Long may it last.

Back soon I’ll be with something new, I’ll know not what until I do. Until then, Namaste from Amras.

At The Limit

Btrfly1

Greetings, I start by  apologising for the poor quality of these pics. They were taken at the limit of the digital zoom that I was using, through a window. The reason I am sharing though, is to celebrate the signs of the times; and an ‘Indian Summer’ that is just coming to its end.

Recently, I tweeted ‘There was never a September so lovely, as has just passed. And now, one full week into October, I can still see butterflies at my window!’

For myself, I am very grateful for the unexpected state of meteorological clemency, which since August, we Brits have enjoyed. (We must have done something good!)

So, please enjoy the pics for what they are, a celebration of something good.

Why I feel so strongly about butterflies, is because I remember the decades when they were a rare sight in our lands. During my youth this saddened me. In the early ’70s, I counted up to none for a couple of years running. Their numbers though, have been recovering for decades. I have, however, never counted as many of these bright, elusive creatures as have been flitting happily around us here since August.

Can anyone remember that fantastic Dutch crop circle* from 2009? Kudos to the folk who constructed that one, it was very clever, (I suspect a zeitgeist is involved with the making of these things.)

With that, I bid you peace, and the blessing of an informed and rational optimism. Namaste from **Amras Arcamenel.
