The Foot of A Hill

TreeBeard's Portraits

At the foot of a hill,

By the back of the house,

Where a forest begins,

And this old man is standing.

 I will promise you this,

If your conscience is clear,

He will show you the faces,

Of faeries a-dancing.

Then wherever you are,

In this world of such glory,

You’ll never let anyone

Steal your story.

Namaste to all, I’m really very happy to be back among you so soon. It can’t happen often enough, as it signals that an extended period of mobility is on the go for me. Greeting every day with gratitude goes a long way.

I hope you like the pic above, please click on it for a great close-up view. That tree is one of many you can see from our windows; and it really does have those human-like features, though I admit to cheating very slightly, by putting in his right eye to mirror the genuine left eye. Click the thumbnail below to see his true features; the eye and nose, I think, are uncanny.

I notice that many of my fellow bloggers are having connection difficulties, and I am no exception, having daily drop-outs that can last for minutes, or hours. Also, mail and other notifications coming sometimes two to three days late. So, my late apologies to Jay, if you are reading, because all the no-show pics you sent arrived three days late. Never the less Jay, I thank you again.

And thanks too to all readers and followers, I would post so much more for you if I were physically able. Even so, let’s maintain ourselves daily in good cheer, for, as ever, who knows what blessings tomorrow is going to bring.

For now, peace from Amras.

  1. Thank you for the inspiration Francis! I bet there are many of us that are happy and continuously praying for you. You’re a beautiful person, a genuinely kindhearted man so deserving of all blessings. Namaste to you and yours.
