A Blue Star-Drake

“Do not despise the snake for having no horns, for who is to say that he may not become a dragon”.

Namaste, This dragon was inspired by a photo of the ceiling art in a Zen temple situated somewhere in the East.  It was my choice for a model when a lady named ‘Star’ requested a painting of a dragon. That was in ’97, back during the Iron Age.

Now, after giving it a quick squeeze through ‘Corel Painter ix’ I can present the 2012 version. It reminds me that we have just experienced a week of incredibly intense storms. The dragons are heard overhead in July.

By the way, who remembers that the Chinese proverb above used to be in spoken in the prologue to “The Water Margin”?
